These rich and beautiful purses and totes are hand made on Orcas Island using the finest silk in the world, Thai Silk.
The artist, WI, is from Thailand and moved to Orcas 7 years ago.
Her husband, Tom Rierden, designs the original art for each piece.

The purses/totes came in 3 sizes.
The purses are the smallest of the three bags.
These purses measure 10.5 inches across, 4 inches wide, 9.5 inches tall. The single shoulder strap is 42 inches
and a functional 4 inches wide. No falling off the shoulder with this purse. And it is long enough to wear across the chest.
The flap has a velcro closure and there is an interior pocket
The next size Tote is double sided, meaning the design is on both sides of the bag.
The Toto Totes are 13.5 inches tall, 6.5 inches wide, and 13 inches side to side. There are double straps that measure 26" inches long. There is and interior pocket.
The Larger Totes are 17 inches tall and 13 inches from side to side. The double straps measure 24 inches long. There is a zipper closure on top, and there are 2 pockets inside, one with a zipper.
Dry cleaning is recommended, but Wi says just take a towel with cold water and press on the area and the towel will absorb the mess.
